26th IAHR International Symposium on Ice
19-23 June 2022 | Montréal, Canada
The call for abstracts closed on 15 December. We would like to thank everyone who has submitted a paper or poster abstract. Notification of acceptance will be sent on 15 January 2022.

In 2022, the IAHR International Symposium on Ice will be back to its birthplace, Montréal, the largest city of Québec, which is a North American hub for research on river and coastal ice. Every year, Québec deals with many ice related challenges for public safety, water infrastructure like hydropower generation and water supply, ice cover use for transport and even winter leisure activities. The impacts of climate change on ice conditions have been disruptive on many fronts and have motivated many researchers to find science-based mitigative measures or predictive tools for adaptation.

The Symposium aims at providing a premier interdisciplinary venue for international researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present and discuss latest research, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of ice engineering, and to determine the most significant tasks for investigation.
